Dell is virtually a household brand name that many computer users are familiar with. Dell prides itself in providing not only American jobs but top-quality computers that are made to last and be extremely durable.  There are many different computer bundles that come with Dell computers depending on your specific needs and your personal budget for computers.  One option when considering purchasing a new computer system for your home or your office to think about buying used Dell desktop computers.

Are used computers as good as new ones?  You will find that there are used, refurbished and shelf model used Dell desktop computers that you can select from when purchasing a new computer.  One time, I was looking for a new Dell desktop computer at the computer store.  There was one model that was on close out.  The only system available was the one on the shelf.  The sales clerk explained that it was a used because customers had tested it and messed around with it prior purchasing the ones that were in brand new boxes.  As a result, I was able to buy a used Dell desktop computer for a huge discount.  The used computer was still in very good condition and no-one would know by looking at it that it was the shelf model.

Another place that you will find used Dell desktop computers for significantly lower prices than new ones are at computer refurbishing stores.  These used computers are refurbished so that they run as well as brand new models.  The primary difference is that new, used or refurbished parts were added to the used Dell desktop computers to make them run in top-condition again.  This means that the company is able to pass significant savings onto the customer when they purchase used Dell desktop computers.  Instead of buying brand new systems that will cost a great deal more, this is an option because the used computers are as good as the new ones.

If you don’t have time to look at different traditional places for used Dell desktop computers, you might want to consider EBay.  You can do a search for used Dell desktop computers and find many different auctions that are available.  Read the auction carefully and find out what is used about the computer.  If you have any questions, use the EBay messaging system to ask the seller specific questions.  Once you are satisfied with the auction listing, opening price and the condition of the computer you can place a bid on the Dell.  This is an excellent way to get some terrific deals on top-quality computers.  I have bought several computers through EBay and had great success.
